We are seeking an experienced Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Massachusetts. This role starts on Sep 29, 2025, and features evening shifts from 3pm to 11pm, Monday through Friday. The assignment focuses on correctional healthcare, requiring demonstrated corrections experience and the ability to round on sick patients during designated time windows. The position also includes coordination with outside hospitals, support for onsite midlevels, and consultation on prenatal care and addiction medicine for opioid use disorder.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Round on sick patients within assigned time windows, starting at 7:30am
  • Coordinate patient care with outside hospitals and doctors offices
  • Consult with women's health providers and OB/GYNs as needed for prenatal cases
  • Provide support and guidance to midlevel providers onsite
  • Address addiction medicine needs, especially related to opioid use disorder
  • Communicate with the regional director as necessary for clinical questions

Additional Information
  • Corrections experience required; recent graduates will not be considered
  • Familiarity with prenatal care and addiction medicine is preferred
  • Must hold a valid Massachusetts nurse practitioner license
