Responsibilities and Duties
Serve as the sole provider delivering comprehensive primary care for all age groups, with an emphasis on geriatric patients
Manage primary care cases independently within the clinic setting
Conduct patient assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, and follow-up care
Prescribe medications and coordinate with specialists as needed
Provide preventive care, health education, and chronic disease management
Maintain accurate and timely patient records
Uphold clinical protocols and quality standards
Additional Information
Must hold an active nurse practitioner license in Maine
Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
Board certification in Family Medicine required
Significant experience in primary care and geriatrics expected; new graduates will not be considered due to solo provider responsibilities
