Job Description
Our client in Maine is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 14-day assignment starting Jun 24, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive care for patients of all ages, managing various ailments, and conducting wellness checks. Additionally, you will support our EMS crew on emergency calls, responding to 911 medical emergencies with shifts typically from 8am to 1pm, with flexibility to reschedule appointments as needed during emergency call-outs.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, addressing a variety of ailments and conducting wellness checks.
- Support the EMS crew on all emergency calls.
- Respond to 911 medical emergencies, involving transport with patients, which may include travel by ferry (in an ambulance), boat, or small plane.
- Manage emergency call-outs with the discretion to reschedule routine appointments as needed.
