Job Description

We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Minnesota, starting Nov 26, 2025, for a 2-week contract. This opportunity features varied daytime shifts, including Wednesday 9am-3pm and Friday 7:30am-5:30pm, in an outpatient primary care and urgent care setting.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive primary and urgent care to patients in an outpatient setting
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
  • Prescribe medications in accordance with DEA regulations
  • Document patient encounters using eClinicalWorks EMR
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and patient safety standards

Additional Information
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in primary care or urgent care outpatient settings required
  • Must hold active Minnesota NP license and DEA registration
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Board certification in Family Medicine required
  • Experience with eClinicalWorks EMR preferred
