Job Description
We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a 1-day locum tenens assignment in Minnesota. This opportunity begins on Dec 26, 2025, with a day shift scheduled from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive care to patients in a Primary Care or Urgent Care outpatient setting
- Perform patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
- Manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Prescribe medications in accordance with DEA regulations
- Document all patient encounters using eClinicalWorks EMR system
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care
- Follow all clinical protocols, standards, and safety guidelines
Additional Information
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Primary Care or Urgent Care outpatient settings required
- Must hold a valid Minnesota license
- Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
- Board certification in Family Medicine required
- Proficiency with eClinicalWorks EMR preferred
