We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner for a 6-week locum tenens opportunity in Mississippi, starting Dec 3, 2025. This assignment features a Monday and Tuesday schedule, with extended hours on Monday and a half-day on Tuesday. The ideal candidate will have a background in family practice and must be credentialed with Medicaid, Medicare, and major private insurers.Job Details

Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct initial patient visits and follow-up appointments
- Diagnose and manage common conditions such as cold, cough, flu, diabetes, and hypertension
- Provide general family practice care across a diverse patient population
- Coordinate laboratory work through LabCorp; no in-house blood draws required
- Maintain compliance with all applicable clinical protocols and documentation standards
Additional Information
- Active Mississippi Nurse Practitioner license required
- DEA certification is mandatory
- Must be credentialed with Medicaid and Medicare, as well as BlueCross Blue Shield, Track Health, United Healthcare, and Magnolia
- COVID vaccines are not part of this assignment
