We are currently seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens role in North Carolina for a 240 day assignment starting August 4, 2025 covering the Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm shift. This position requires a skilled provider to manage a range of duties including conducting physical exams, patient teaching, and home health visits. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct health histories and physical exams
  • Provide patient teaching tailored to individuals
  • Order, interpret, and follow up on laboratory tests
  • Travel for home health visits as needed
  • Perform selected medical procedures
  • Document patient care comprehensively
  • Initiate emergency measures when necessary
  • Evaluate, review, and modify orders for medications and diagnostic studies
  • Assess and coordinate patient care daily
  • Request consultations and collaborate with other medical services
  • Act as a liaison with healthcare professionals, providing education and support
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to patient care planning
  • Support the PACE mission through ethical clinical practices


Additional Information

  • Must have at least 1 year of experience in geriatric care
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Licensed to practice in North Carolina
