We are seeking a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Nebraska, starting Apr 6, 2026. This contract offers a Monday to Friday daytime schedule, serving adult patients in an outpatient primary care setting. The position focuses on well visits, physicals, and preventive care for adults, primarily ages 55 and older.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide outpatient primary care to adults, focusing on patients aged 55 and older
• Conduct well visits, annual physicals, and administer flu care
• Manage internal medicine and geriatric cases in a VA outpatient clinic
• Maintain accurate documentation using CPRS EMR system
• Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure quality patient care

Additional Information

• Must have Nebraska state license
• Required certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), DEA registration
• Board certification required in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Prior VA experience preferred
• Anticipated two-month credentialing process
