We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner for a 65-day locum tenens assignment in New York. This opportunity begins Jan 13, 2026, providing Monday through Friday coverage in a busy primary care office. The role offers consistent day shifts from 8am to 4:30pm, seeing an average of 20 patients daily in a collaborative setting with physicians and other advanced practice providers.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient panel
• Conduct office visits scheduled in 15- and 30-minute increments
• Manage an average daily patient volume of 20
• Collaborate with a team of 3 physicians, 2 advanced practice providers, and a tenured LPN
• Deliver care independently in a fast-paced, rural health environment
• Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation
• Support continuity of care within the established practice model

Additional Information

• Current New York nurse practitioner license required
• Board certification in Family Medicine required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Prior experience in rural health settings is preferred
