Job Description

We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a 48-week locum tenens assignment in Oregon, starting on Jul 21, 2025. The role involves a 4-day workweek with shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Candidates should have experience in Family Medicine/Urgent Care and be comfortable treating patients of all ages. Proficiency with the Nextgen EMR system is required.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages in a family practice/urgent care setting
  • Diagnose and treat a wide array of conditions
  • Prescribe and manage medications
  • Perform routine wellness checks and health screenings
  • Educate patients and families on health care needs, conditions, and treatment options
  • Maintain patient records and ensure privacy and confidentiality
  • Utilize Nextgen EMR system for documentation and management of patient care


Additional Information

  • Tribal Health experience is strongly preferred
  • Required to be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Oregon
  • Must be able to handle a dynamic and fast-paced environment
