Responsibilities and Duties
Provide acute and chronic care management, including diabetes and hypertension
Perform procedures such as casting, IUD insertion, Nexplanon placement, biopsies, toenail removal, and (optionally) vasectomy
Deliver patient care with autonomy and independent clinical judgment
Collaborate with assigned medical assistant daily
Document care and maintain accurate medical records
Adapt to the scope of practice based on comfort with specific procedures
Additional Information
Must hold a valid Oregon NP license and Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP)
Board certified as an NP
Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
Ability to work mostly independently is essential
Pending credentialing generally takes 2 months
