Job Description

We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania. This full-time role begins on Aug 11, 2025, and involves day shifts from Monday to Friday. The Nurse Practitioner will engage in a variety of duties including sick calls, rounding, running chronic and preventative care procedures and clinics, and more.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct sick calls and patient rounding
  • Manage chronic and preventative care procedures
  • Perform follow-ups in preventative care clinics
  • Participate in infirmary rounds for internal medicine cases
  • Manage trauma triage
  • Maintain accurate charting and medication refills
  • Handle med non-compliance issues with patients
  • Conduct morning lines for procedures such as suture removal and follow-ups


Additional Information

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Familiarity with correctional facility environments is a plus
  • Proficiency in EMR systems
