We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania. This opportunity begins on Sep 2, 2025, and involves full-time day shifts from Monday to Friday. The role includes managing a wide range of medical procedures focused on inmate care, including chronic and preventative care, foot clinics, and medication compliance.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Conduct initial patient lines in the morning, including suture removal and follow-ups.
  • Perform rounding on sick inmates and handle sick calls, with case distribution among staff (peak on Mondays).
  • Manage chronic and preventative care procedures and follow-ups.
  • Run foot clinics, providing care such as ingrown toenail treatments and diabetic foot care.
  • Address medication non-compliance issues with patients.

Additional Information
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Prior correctional experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Pennsylvania.
