Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct sick call and medical rounding for patients
  • Manage chronic care and preventative care procedures, including follow-ups
  • Operate preventative care clinics
  • Perform infirmary rounds for internal medicine cases as needed
  • Conduct trauma triage and address urgent medical needs
  • Complete thorough charting and documentation of patient encounters
  • Manage medication refills and monitor medication compliance
  • Perform morning PA/NP lines including suture removal and follow-up visits


Additional Information

  • Pennsylvania nurse practitioner license required
  • Correctional experience is a plus
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Experience with various EMR systems preferred
