Job Description

We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a 65-day locum tenens assignment with our client in Pennsylvania. This opportunity begins on Dec 15, 2025, and offers a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, from 7:30am to 4pm. The ideal candidate will have experience in corrections, possess a Basic Life Support certification, and be comfortable with both chronic and preventative care procedures in a correctional setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct sick call and rounding
  • Perform chronic and preventative care procedures and follow-ups
  • Lead preventative care clinics
  • Complete infirmary rounds for internal medicine cases as needed
  • Manage trauma triage
  • Chart patient notes accurately and timely
  • Handle medication refills
  • Participate in morning PA/NP lines (suture removal, follow-ups, etc.)
  • Address medication non-compliance with patients


Additional Information

  • Corrections experience is a plus
  • Pennsylvania license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
