Job Description

We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a 65-day locum tenens assignment with our client in Pennsylvania, beginning Dec 29, 2025. This full-time role offers day shifts from 7:30am to 4pm, Monday through Friday. The provider will deliver comprehensive care through sick call, chronic and preventative clinics, and trauma triage in a correctional setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct sick call and rounding for patient care
  • Perform chronic and preventative care procedures and follow ups
  • Lead preventative care clinics
  • Manage internal medicine cases during infirmary rounds as needed
  • Respond to trauma triage situations
  • Document clinical findings and chart notes accurately
  • Process medication refills
  • Oversee PA/NP morning lines, including suture removal and follow ups
  • Address medication non-compliance with patients


Additional Information

  • Active Pennsylvania Nurse Practitioner license required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Correctional healthcare experience is a plus
