Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Family Practice Needed in PA

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Apr 20, 2026. This role involves a consistent 7:30am - 4pm schedule, focusing on sick calls, chronic and preventative care, trauma triage, charting, medication refills, and morning PA/NP lines.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Sick Call and rounding
• Running chronic and preventative care procedures and follow ups
• Preventative care clinics
• May be called upon for infirmary rounds for internal medicine cases
• Trauma triage
• Charting notes
• Med refills
• PA/NP lines in morning (suture removal, follow ups, etc)
• Med non-compliance with patients

Additional Information

• Patient Caseload: Bread and butter primary care cases, chronic care cases (asthma, hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia), preventative care cases (annual physical exams), and sick call (runny nose, headaches, back pain).
• Ability to do sutures and splinting is a plus, not required.
• Shift Hours: 7:30am - 4pm
