Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct sick calls and infirmary rounds
- Manage chronic and preventative care procedures
- Run preventative care clinics
- Occasionally perform infirmary rounds specifically for internal medicine cases
- Provide care in trauma triage situations
- Maintain accurate charting notes
- Handle medication refills
- Conduct morning PA/NP lines including suture removal and follow-ups
- Address medication non-compliance issues with patients

- Previous correctional experience is beneficial but not mandatory
