We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Texas, beginning on Aug 11, 2025, for a 127-day period. This role involves telehealth consultations, primarily focusing on conditions like cold, cough, flu, UTIs, strep throat, and some aspects of sexual health including erectile dysfunction and sexually transmitted infections. The schedule includes shifts from Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM, and weekend hours from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Review patient files and documents via telehealth to determine ongoing medication needs.
• Consult on cases including but not limited to cold, cough, flu, UTI, strep throat, and specific sexual health concerns.
• Make informed decisions regarding the continuation or adjustment of medications based on patient consultation.
• Ensure high-quality care and adherence to healthcare protocols.

Additional Information

• Multiple state licenses and DEAs required.
• Familiarity with Kareo EMR system.
• Required Board Certifications: Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP).
