Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 9-day assignment in Utah. Beginning Mar 31, 2026, this role involves working 9am-6pm shifts, managing a high volume of patients. Duties include procedures such as IUD and abscess removals, IV administration for dehydration, mammograms, pap smears, lab work, follow-up appointments, physicals, and comprehensive care for diabetic patients, including DOT physicals. Our client requires an experienced professional comfortable seeing a minimum of 40 patients daily.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform removal of IUDs and abscesses.
  • Administer IVs for dehydration needs.
  • Conduct mammograms and pap smears.
  • Order and interpret lab work.
  • Manage patient follow-ups and conduct physical examinations.
  • Provide comprehensive care for diabetic patients.
  • Perform DOT Physicals.
  • Prescribe controlled substances (CSR 2-4) like Amoxicillin, cholesterol medication, and clonazepam.
  • Manage diabetes-related medications such as metformin and glipizide.
  • Address hypertension and perform EKG readings.
  • Perform ingrown toenail removal.
  • Comfortably see at least 40 patients per day, equating to 4 patients per hour.
