We are seeking a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner for a short-term locum tenens assignment in Virginia, starting on Aug 1, 2025. This role, vital for providing urgent care services, spans 6 days across specific weekends in August with potential for similar dates in September. Working hours are from 8am to 7pm, focusing on delivering acute and chronic care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform physical exams
• Order or perform diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications
• Develop treatment plans
• Treat acute and chronic illnesses
• Utilize the EMR system, Practice Fusion, to document patient interactions

Additional Information

• Must be licensed in Virginia
• At least 4 years of experience required
• Background in Urgent Care preferred
• DOT certification is a plus
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
