Job Description

We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Washington starting on Jul 28, 2025. This role focuses on providing care for newborns in a community health center setting, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience with newborns and a strong background in family medicine.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive care to newborns and their families.
  • Conduct examinations and assess health status of newborns.
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
  • Ensure a high standard of care is maintained in accordance with community health guidelines.
  • Utilize the EMR system Centricity for accurate documentation of patient care.

Additional Information
  • Required Board Certifications: Family Medicine
  • Must hold a valid Washington state license.
  • Certifications needed: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Experience: At least 2 years out of residency, with a strong emphasis on newborn care.
