Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Washington beginning Nov 3, 2025. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 8am to 5pm, with 8-hour day shifts. The successful candidate will provide care for a diverse patient mix, including both complex chronic and low acuity cases, in a clinic setting.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Conduct 20-minute clinic appointments for a range of complex chronic and low acuity cases
  • Deliver comprehensive primary care to patients across the lifespan
  • Utilize Athenahealth EMR for patient documentation and workflows
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care
  • Demonstrate adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and systems

Additional Information
  • Minimum 3 years of recent Family Medicine experience required
  • Prior FQHC experience preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Washington state licensure required
  • Experience with Google Suite applications preferred or demonstrated computer literacy expected
  • Board certification in Family Medicine required
