Job Description

We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Washington, beginning Jan 12, 2026. This 80-day opportunity features day shifts, Monday through Friday, with one Saturday per month. Candidates must have experience treating newborns and previous community health center experience.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide primary care services to patients of all ages, including newborns
  • Deliver comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions in a community health center setting
  • Utilize Centricity EMR system for documentation and patient management
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to support patient care
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and clinical guidelines

Additional Information
  • Minimum 2 years of post-residency experience required
  • Experience with newborn care is highly preferred and essential
  • Community health center experience is mandatory
  • Must hold active WA state licensure
  • Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Board certification in Family Medicine is required
