Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 39-day assignment in Washington, starting May 11, 2026. This role involves working 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts, providing comprehensive primary care within a sole practitioner family practice clinic. You will manage a diverse patient population, addressing follow-ups, new patient visits, acute needs, and chronic disease management, including physicals, diabetes, and hypertension.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work 3 days per week with 12-hour shifts, 7 AM to 7 PM.
  • Manage clinic time from 7 AM to 6 PM, dedicating 6 PM to 7 PM for administrative duties.
  • Serve as a sole practitioner in a family practice clinic.
  • Conduct follow-ups, new patient visits, and address acute patient needs.
  • Diagnose and treat common ailments like colds, coughs, and flu.
  • Perform physicals and routine patient visits.
  • Provide care for chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension.
  • Care for an established patient population, some of whom may have had a provider on extended leave, as well as unestablished and new patients.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Family Medicine is required.
  • The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used is Cerner.
