Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner specializing in Family Practice for a 9-day locum tenens assignment at a clinic in Wisconsin. The assignment runs from August 18-22 and August 25-28, 2025, with a varied schedule. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are 7 am to 4 pm, while Tuesdays and Thursdays are 8 am to 5 pm. This position primarily focuses on primary care with some occupational health components. The NP will handle acute and chronic cases, including coughs/flus, hypertension, diabetes, physicals, and some workers' compensation cases. The clinic serves as an onsite healthcare facility for a factory.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

- Provide primary care services to factory employees and their families

- Manage acute and chronic health conditions

- Conduct physical examinations and health assessments

- Diagnose and treat common illnesses such as coughs and flu

- Manage patients with hypertension and diabetes

- Handle workers' compensation cases as needed

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Epic EMR

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as necessary

- Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures

- Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention


Additional Information:

- Wisconsin state license required

- Experience with Epic EMR preferred

- Workers' compensation experience beneficial
