Job Description

We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Wisconsin. This opportunity begins on Dec 5, 2025, and is a 1-day assignment with a day shift scheduled from 7am to 3pm. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a primary care or urgent care outpatient setting and hold current ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide high-quality care in a primary care or urgent care outpatient setting

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
  • Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Athenahealth EMR
  • Adhere to all professional, legal, and ethical standards

Additional Information
  • Must hold an active license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Minnesota
  • Required certifications: Family Medicine board certification, ACLS, BLS, DEA
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a primary care or urgent care outpatient setting
  • Proficiency with Athenahealth EMR is preferred
