Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner for an 8-week locum tenens assignment in Wisconsin, starting Feb 2, 2026. This role offers a dynamic schedule of day shifts on Mondays (8:30am–5:30pm) and Wednesdays (7am–4pm), providing care for all ages in a primary care and work comp onsite clinic.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages
  • Manage minimal work comp cases for factory employees
  • Perform simple sutures and minor procedures including wart, mole, and skin tag removal, and ingrown toenail treatment
  • Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and provide follow-up care
  • Document all patient interactions and procedures accurately using Epic EMR
  • Collaborate with onsite staff to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Maintain compliance with clinic policies and regulatory standards

Additional Information
  • Minimum 3 years of recent Family Practice experience required
  • Familiarity with work comp cases preferred
  • Must hold an active Wisconsin license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certification required
  • Board certification in Family Medicine required
  • Experience using Epic EMR is beneficial
