Responsibilities and Duties
Serve as Medical Director, overseeing both clinical and administrative operations
Provide direct patient care in a clinical setting
Supervise Advanced Practice Providers and other healthcare staff
Ensure compliance with facility protocols and regulatory standards
Foster effective teamwork and collaboration among clinical teams
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support staff development
Additional Information
Board Certification in Family Medicine required
Active Alaska medical license required
Previous experience in an Indian Health Service (IHS) setting preferred
Must have prior supervisory experience with Advanced Practice Providers
Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA, PALS
