We are seeking an experienced Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Arizona, starting Dec 22, 2025. This role features Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm shifts in an outpatient clinic setting that experiences a high volume of walk-in patients due to the nearest emergency room being 50 minutes away.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive outpatient care to a diverse patient population
  • Manage a high volume of walk-in cases due to remote emergency services
  • Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide follow-up care
  • Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure quality patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using RPMS EMR system
  • Respond to urgent patient needs within the scope of practice

Additional Information
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA certification required
  • Valid license to practice as a Physician Assistant in Arizona (multi-state licenses accepted)
  • IHS experience preferred but not required
