We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Arizona. This opportunity begins on Mar 16, 2026, with day shifts scheduled Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. The role is based in an outpatient IHS clinic that receives a high volume of walk-in patients due to the nearest emergency room being 50 minutes away.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide primary care services to patients in an outpatient clinical setting
  • Manage a wide range of walk-in cases due to limited nearby emergency services
  • Conduct patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans
  • Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure continuity of care
  • Document all patient interactions using the RPMS EMR system
  • Adhere to clinical protocols and regulatory requirements

Additional Information
  • Active license to practice as a Physician Assistant in Arizona required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA certification required
  • IHS experience preferred but not required
  • Proficiency with RPMS EMR system is beneficial
