We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Dec 8, 2025. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 8am to 5pm, serving a diverse patient population and providing care in a dynamic outpatient setting.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive care to a diverse outpatient population, including a large proportion of Spanish-speaking patients (translators and Spanish-speaking medical assistants available)
  • Manage cases with a majority (78%) Medical/Medicaid patient base
  • Deliver clinical care in accordance with Family Medicine standards
  • Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and workflow
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Additional Information
  • Locum experience is required
  • Experience in FQHC, rural health, or IHS settings preferred
  • Recent experience in an Internal Medicine setting required
  • Active California license, DEA registration, and furnishing license required
  • Board certification in Family Medicine required
