We are seeking an experienced Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Florida, starting Oct 6, 2025. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 8AM to 5PM, and requires care for patients of all ages. Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients from newborns to seniors
- Serve a patient population with a lower volume of pediatric cases
- Perform routine and acute care visits during standard daytime hours
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Adhere to all relevant protocols and compliance standards
Additional Information
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Physician Assistant preferred
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics is required
- Must hold current Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
- Florida license required
- Must be willing to work during the holiday season, except for specified closures (Nov 27, Nov 28, Dec 25, and Jan 1)
