We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Physician Assistant for a locum tenens position through Barton Associates to provide coverage at a clinic in Massachusetts. This 42-day assignment begins on June 23rd and requires expertise in adult primary care for patients 18 and older. The work schedule is any three consecutive days between Monday and Friday, from 9am to 4pm. The PA will conduct routine physicals, manage diabetes care, provide medication consultations, and offer light women's health services. Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Conduct routine physical examinations for adult patients (18+)
• Manage diabetes check-ins and maintenance
• Provide medication consultations
• Offer light women's health services
• Remove sutures as needed
• Maintain high-quality patient care
• Complete charting within facility regulatory timeframes
• Collaborate effectively with clinic staff
• Arrive on time and maintain a professional demeanor
• See all scheduled patients
• Refer out emergency cases or those beyond scope of practice
Additional Information:
• Must be licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of Massachusetts
• Experience with eClinicalWorks electronic health record system preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment required
