 We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 9-day locum tenens assignment at a Clinic in New York, from July 3, 2025, to July 11, 2025. The ideal candidate will provide medical coverage for a summer camp setting, conducting two 1.5-hour sick calls daily, one after breakfast and one after dinner, followed by on-call duties. This role involves managing camper health concerns, working alongside a head nurse and nursing staff, and being available for medical emergencies. The position requires an active New York PA license and proficiency in Campminder software. Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conduct two 1.5-hour sick calls daily, after breakfast and dinner
• Provide on-call medical coverage throughout the assignment
• Assess and treat campers' acute illnesses and injuries
• Collaborate with the head nurse and nursing staff
• Utilize Campminder software for patient management and record-keeping
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Ensure compliance with camp health and safety protocols
• Provide patient education on health and hygiene in a camp setting
• Respond to medical emergencies as needed
• Stay in close vicinity to the camp for prompt response when on-call

Additional Information:

• Active New York PA license required
• Experience with Campminder software preferred
• Strong clinical skills in family practice and pediatric care
