We are seeking a dedicated Family Physician Assistant for a 44-day locum tenens assignment in New York, starting Aug 18, 2025. This role involves a Monday-Friday, 8-4:30 schedule, managing primary care, chronic disease, and acute visits, ensuring high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Work alongside a Physician, with support from an MA or LPN
• Manage a caseload of 15-18 patients per day
• Provide general primary care, chronic disease management, and acute care services
• Conduct follow-ups for emergency department visits and hospital discharges
• Engage in phone-based call responsibilities after the initial two months, averaging 5-10 calls per week

Additional Information

• Must be licensed in New York and enrolled in Medicaid NY
• Clinic experience is required
• Familiarity with EMR systems Epic and Medent will be advantageous
