Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct telehealth video calls with patients in the hospital to address primary care needs
- Collaborate with a medical assistant who visits patient homes to collect prescribed tests
- Provide evaluation and management of respiratory issues and perform throat cultures
- Prescribe and review diagnostic tests as clinically indicated
- Document patient encounters in accordance with facility protocols
- Communicate effectively with the care team to ensure continuity of care
