 Barton Associates is seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a locum tenens position at a multi-specialty clinic in Oregon starting 08/04/2025. This 65-day assignment requires expertise in family medicine and walk-in patient care, including treatment of cold, cough, flu, diabetes, and COVID-19. The schedule is flexible, with a minimum of 3 consecutive days per week, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 7 PM. This rural FQHC setting serves a complex patient demographic, including many non-English speaking patients. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of primary care experience, be comfortable as a solo provider, and have experience with Epic EHR. This opportunity offers a chance for extension beyond the initial assignment period.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide comprehensive family medicine care for walk-in patients

• Diagnose and treat various conditions including cold, cough, flu, diabetes, and COVID-19

• Manage complex patient cases in an FQHC setting

• Perform physical examinations and develop treatment plans

• Prescribe medications and provide patient education

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Epic EHR

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed

• Adapt to working with diverse patient populations, including non-English speakers

• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and effective communication skills

• Manage patient flow efficiently as a solo provider
