Job Description

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania. This role commences on Aug 11, 2025, and entails a Monday to Friday schedule, from 8am to 4:30pm. The successful candidate will engage in a variety of duties including sick call, chronic and preventative care, and infirmary rounds, providing an excellent opportunity to develop and hone skills in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct sick calls and manage chronic care procedures
  • Perform preventative care clinics and follow-ups
  • Participate in infirmary rounds, focusing on internal medicine cases
  • Handle trauma triage and medical non-compliance issues with patients
  • Manage medication refills and charting notes
  • Engage in morning PA/NP lines including suture removal and follow-ups


Additional Information

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Experience in correctional facility settings is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Must be licensed as a Physician Assistant in Pennsylvania
