We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania. This role, starting on Aug 11, 2025, involves full-time day shifts from Monday to Friday, focusing on a broad range of responsibilities including chronic and preventative care, infirmary rounds, and emergency triage.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct sick calls and patient rounding
  • Manage chronic and preventative care procedures and follow-ups
  • Operate preventative care clinics
  • Perform infirmary rounds specifically for internal medicine cases
  • Handle trauma triage situations
  • Maintain accurate charting notes
  • Manage medication refills and address medication non-compliance issues
  • Run PA/NP lines in the morning which may include suture removal and follow-ups


Additional Information

  • Required Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Licensed as a Physician Assistant in Pennsylvania
  • Previous correctional facility experience is a plus
