We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania, starting on Sep 2, 2025. The role encompasses day shifts from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, focusing on primary care tasks, including sick calls, daily infirmary rounds, and more.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct sick calls and provide primary care services
  • Perform daily infirmary rounds each morning
  • Manage rounds in restricted housing units once per week
  • Conduct physical, emergency, and admission consults
  • Address common ailments such as colds, coughs, flu; perform sutures and splinting
  • Responsible for charting and reviewing EMR queues
  • Review and interpret lab results and x-rays


Additional Information

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Experience in corrections, general family practice, internal medicine, or urgent care is advantageous
  • Proficiency with various EMR systems
