We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 120-day locum tenens assignment with our client in South Dakota. This opportunity begins May 25, 2026, and offers a Monday through Friday schedule with day shifts. Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide general outpatient family medicine care to patients of all ages except infants
  • Manage walk-in patients and scheduled visits, averaging 5-6 patients per day
  • No obstetric, infant care, or suturing responsibilities
  • Deliver patient-centered care with flexibility to spend ample time per visit
  • Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EHR
  • Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure quality care and smooth clinic operations

Additional Information
  • Must be a nationally certified Physician Assistant with SD license, or compact license if unlicensed in SD
  • Experience in family practice or primary care preferred
  • Board certification not required
