Job Description

We are seeking a Family Physician Assistant for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Vermont, starting Nov 17, 2025. This role includes a schedule of Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8am to 5pm, with extended hours on Wednesday until 7pm. The Physician Assistant will be responsible for managing a range of family medicine cases, utilizing Athenahealth EMR.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive patient care in a family practice setting.
  • Manage a broad array of health conditions, from acute to chronic and from pediatric to geriatric.
  • Utilize Athenahealth EMR for documentation and management of patient records.
  • Engage in both scheduled and walk-in appointments.
  • Oversee patient follow-ups and coordinate with other healthcare professionals as necessary.
  • Adhere to all medical and ethical guidelines.

Additional Information
  • Required Board Certifications: Family Medicine
  • Must be licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in Vermont.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
