We are seeking an experienced Family Practice Physician Assistant for an 80-day locum tenens assignment in Washington, starting Jan 5, 2026. This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of one Saturday per month. Candidates must bring a strong background in community health centers and proficiency in caring for newborns and infants.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive family practice care, with emphasis on newborn and infant patients
• Conduct patient examinations, evaluations, and develop treatment plans
• Deliver acute and chronic care services in a community health center environment
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and allied health professionals
• Accurately document patient encounters and treatments in Centricity EMR
• Maintain current certifications and adhere to the highest standards of patient safety

Additional Information

• Minimum 2 years post-residency experience required
• Experience with babies is essential; lack of newborn experience may disqualify candidates
• Community health center experience is mandatory
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
• WA licensure required
• Board certification in Family Medicine required
