Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Family Practice Physician Assistant for a locum tenens assignment in Washington. This 80-day opportunity begins Jan 12, 2026, with day shifts Monday through Friday and one Saturday per month. Candidates must have a minimum of two years post-residency experience, particularly with newborns, and prior community health center experience is required. Proficiency with Centricity EMR is preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, including newborns
• Perform patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage ongoing care
• Deliver high-quality care within a community health center environment
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate documentation using Centricity EMR
• Adhere to established protocols and standards of care

Additional Information

• Minimum two years out of residency required
• Must have recent experience treating newborns; this is highly preferred and will be prioritized
• Community health center experience is mandatory
• Active Washington licensure required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
• Board certification in Family Medicine required
