Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Family Practice Physician Assistant for a locum tenens assignment in Washington. This 80-day opportunity begins Jan 12, 2026, with day shifts Monday through Friday and one Saturday per month. Candidates must have a minimum of two years post-residency experience, particularly with newborns, and prior community health center experience is required. Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, including newborns
- Perform patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage ongoing care
- Deliver high-quality care within a community health center environment
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate documentation using Centricity EMR
- Adhere to established protocols and standards of care
Additional Information
- Minimum two years out of residency required
- Must have recent experience treating newborns; this is highly preferred and will be prioritized
- Community health center experience is mandatory
- Active Washington licensure required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
