Job Description

Our client in Washington is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 39-day assignment, beginning May 11, 2026. This role features 3 days of 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, with a focus on comprehensive family practice within a sole practitioner clinic. The Physician Assistant will manage a varied patient load, handling follow-ups, new patient visits, acute needs, and routine care for conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. This assignment supports both established and new patient populations.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work 3 days per week, with 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM.
  • Dedicate 7 AM to 6 PM to clinic time and 6 PM to 7 PM to administrative tasks.
  • Operate as a sole practitioner within a family practice clinic setting.
  • Manage a diverse patient panel, including follow-up appointments, new patient visits, and acute care needs (e.g., cold, cough, flu).
  • Conduct physicals and provide routine care for chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension.
  • Care for both established patients whose primary provider is on extended leave and new patients.


Additional Information

  • Board certification required in Family Medicine.
  • Experience with Cerner EMR system.
