 We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens position at a rural Indian Health Service (IHS) outpatient clinic in Arizona. This 120-day assignment begins on 08/04/2025, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no on-call duties. The ideal candidate will be comfortable providing general family practice care to patients of all ages in a rural IHS environment. Due to the clinic's remote location, the physician should be prepared to handle walk-in patients and a variety of medical situations. Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide comprehensive family practice care to patients of all ages

• Handle walk-in patients and urgent care situations

• Develop and implement treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions

• Conduct health screenings and provide preventive care services

• Utilize RPMS electronic health record system for patient documentation

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records

• Adapt to the unique challenges of practicing in a rural, underserved area

• Stay updated on the latest family practice techniques and IHS protocols

Additional Information:

• Any state medical license will be accepted

• Board certification in Family Medicine required

• Proficiency in RPMS EHR system preferred
