Barton is seeking a Family Practice Physician for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Arizona. This opportunity begins on Nov 24, 2025, and offers a Monday to Friday schedule with 8-hour day shifts (8a - 5p). The physician will provide care in an IHS outpatient clinic, managing a diverse range of walk-in cases due to the remote location. There is also a chance for an extension with this opportunity.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Deliver comprehensive outpatient care in an IHS clinic setting
  • Manage acute and chronic medical conditions for walk-in patients
  • Conduct patient evaluations, order diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans
  • Respond to a broad spectrum of cases, given the distance from the nearest emergency department
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using RPMS EMR

Additional Information

  • Active state medical license required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA registration required
  • IHS experience preferred but not required
