Responsibilities and Duties
Provide direct and indirect medical care to meet the healthcare needs of patients within the facility
Formulate working diagnoses, develop and implement treatment plans, and evaluate or modify therapeutic regimens
Evaluate patients returning from off-site treatment
Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies throughout the facility
Coordinate, lead, and participate in educational and training activities related to medical care for patients
Additional Information
Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is required
Must hold an active Arizona medical license
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certifications required
Familiarity with TechCare EMR is beneficial
Start date is dependent on completion of Department of Corrections clearance, timely submission of required documentation, and completion of background checks
