Job Description

Our client in Arizona is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for a 364-day assignment starting Apr 27, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive direct and indirect medical care, evaluating patients, and responding to medical emergencies, with shifts typically running from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The physician will manage a variety of urgent care and family practice cases, including basic procedures such as suturing and incision and drainage.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide direct and indirect medical care to meet the healthcare needs of the patients within the facility
  • Formulate a working diagnosis, develop and implement a treatment plan, and evaluate and modify therapeutic regimens
  • Evaluate patients who have returned from off-site treatment
  • Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies throughout the facility
  • Coordinate, lead, and participate in educational and training activities related to medical care for patients
  • Manage a variety of urgent care and family practice cases, including suturing and basic procedures


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is required
  • Experience with TechCare EMR system
  • Must be proficient in basic procedures including suturing and incision and drainage
